So, how many of you have been watching American Idol? I absolutely love that show (there you go American Idol, you just got free advertisement on the blog of what will one day be a famous singer's blog! Me, by the way, Bridget <3)! I like the following people the most:
Lauren Alaina
Scott McCreary (deep voice guy)
Thia Mageea or something like that.
And alot other people I don't know the names of....
I, actually, am watching American Idol right now.
Me and my best friend Emma are planning on auditioning for American Idol on the same day, as we both have the same Bday, sorta. Hers is one day before mine. I bet I'm gonna be real nervous on that day, because its Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson. They are celebrities after all! But if I know Emma is there, it'll be all cool.
So, comment, tell me your faves people and stuff! :)

MMS- The Best! :D
I don't know the last time I posted, but I'm guessing its been a LONG time. So, I've recently (Sorta, I started in late August... it's Christmas Eve tomorrow...) started middle school and McKamy. It's really fun!!! So much funner (so what if 'funner' isn't a word? Who actually listens to the dictionary any more? That's sooo 2007!!;]) than elementary school, but you know I love you Liberty Elem.!! I love how we're treated more independently, more grown uppy, and best of all- MORE PEOPLE!!!! Most of the kids at Liberty were real nice and everything, but I've been with them for 5 stinkin' years! Sure, some kids left, and new ones replaced them, but then came another year, and another and another, and I could tell you how many people were in my grade by about now last year. Seriously. I volunteered to staple and hammer the Outdoor School packets during study hall and I had to count every... single... packet.... But it was fun!!! But now, about 300 more students is like a breath of fresh air, and I mean a big breath! I've already made a ton of friends! Ok, maybe I've made an exageration: 'Already' is a little small. ;) After all, the school year is half over!!!! But the homework is... a lot heavier. Like, a lot. I didn't really get why Aidan had to stay up til 10 or maybe 11 each night doing HW, but now... oy- I'm doing it too! I had to stay up until 11:30PM writing a newspaper article for Reading. That's what I get for being absent, I suppose.Grrrr... But don't get me wrong, reading is one of my favorite classes! My favorite is English, then Choir, then Study Skills, Reading, PE, World Geography, Science then Math. I love all classes but I'm more of a 'Literature/Music/Let's-move-around!' kind of girl then 'lets-talk-about-things-our-teacher-expects-us-to-remember-by-the-quiz-on-Thursday' kind of girl. I mean seriously! Do they expect us to remember the entire arrangement of a continent and what percentage of the countries speak what language, practice what religion, and have what kind of government/economy. And then memorize what kind of planet has which kind of surface and how many 'kilometers' (darn that metric system! You keep on messin' me up in science!) each planet is from the sun, and then remeber every single fraction into a percent, percent into decimal, decimal into fraction, and percent into fraction and decimal to percent!! All in about less than 1 month, if you put it together. And then, they expect us to ace a quiz on it. Ok, well maybe they don't expect us to... but you know what I mean. And those are just the harder (to me) classes. But I take 2 PAP (Pre AP. I don't know what the AP stands for...;]) classes. Reading and English!! It's really fun because everyone in our English class is in our Reading class, except for Clara, who gets replaced by Sigh... But anyways! Enough about me! Let me hear about you! Comment please!! :)

Middle Schooler Me in the town of Edumacation.
So, I haven't posted in a while. Oops! Sorry! I've been enjoying the freedom of summer. Of course, i am excited for 6th grade. We went to orientation to find out our teachers, and we have portables for some classes. I have study skills (which helps you get organized) in a portable, then after that I have science upstairs, then I have gym, all the way downstairs across the school. Then I have choir, which is really hard to get to. I got lost during orientation. You have to go down a hall past a trophy case, through a door, pass another hall, go past more doors, then you're at the choir room. So, I am a busy busy bee. For my schedule; during the school year. I love middle school. It gives you responsebility, and teaches you how to remember where to go and where to turn and stuff, so when we learn how to drive, we will know how to remember where stuff is and how to get to it. That's how I picture the schedules. But then, while on the road to where ever we need to go, we stop in the big city of "Edumacation". We learn, and go to the buildings of math and english and reading and science and study hall and study skills and gym and world geo and choir. All marvalous buildings. My favorite is choir. We get to sing all day and if we do have homework, it will be to sing. I love to sing. And by the time we've past through 'Edumacation', we will have a good, clear path ahead of us. Unless you decide to take the road less traveled by, and who knows where that'll take ya'.

Mini Mall
Hmmmmm... Mini Mall. Oh sweet, sweet, mini mall. It's practically like giving stuff away. "What," you might ask, "is this 'mini mall' you speak of?" I'll tell you what it is I speak of! Well, Mini mall is where the teachers give you 'funny money' or, mini mall money (MMM or Triple M, but most people call it 'mini mall') whenever you do something good, like read a book, or answer a question correct (only one known teacher is known to do this, Mr. Brown- oh and of course Mrs. Traynor, sometimes). If you do something bad, like talk during silent lunch, or back-talk a teacher. I don't believe we should call it 'back talk'. It's just a way to express our feelings. I'm just kidding. I don't think we should back talk a teacher. (Notice the emphasis on should). They also pay you for doing your 'job'. Like, washing tables, Paper Passer Outer, (Mrs. Boulton calls it PPP. I think it's kind of funny!) or messenger. And at the end of every six weeks, we have Mini Mall, which is like a Mall in the Hall (I meant for that to rhyme!!!). People can make stuff and sell it, have junk sells (where they just find old stuff they don't want and sell it) or go all out and buy some stuff at the Dollar Tree. Some people sell bookmarks, old stuffed animals, homemade t-shirts, old toys, everytime at least one person spray paints people's hair which is very widely popular, and, well, my list could go on forever. This week I'm selling pipe cleaner pencils. That is where I wrap pipe cleaners around shiny pencils and make a figure at the top, such as a flower (my brother makes a jet pack man), a star, a heart, a boingy thing, etc. etc... I am also selling pipe cleaner rings. My moma bought severel different colored pipe cleaners such as almost every neon color you could imagine (except yellow, for some reason they don't have that color) and regular earthy colors. Neon colors are very popular in my grade. People have neon V-neck t-shirts, neon tanktops, neon shoes, neon socks, neon shoe-laces etc. etc... Well, I just thought I'd tell ya! See ya later!!!

Valentines, McKamy, Two Tests. Oh My!
Yesterday we had a Valentines Day party. We also went to McKamy Middle School to see what musical elective we wanted to do. I, personally, would like to be in Choir. My friend, Emma, wants to be in Drama. Drama is my second choice, Computer Literacy is my third. I am definantly going to get in to Choir, because they take as many people that want to be in it. There is no limit. However, in Drama, Computer Literacy and Art Apreciation, they can only take a certain amount of people. So maybe Emma will get into Choir with me (it's her second choice, Computer Literacy is her third, just like me!) but I still want Emma to get into Drama so she can like her elective.
Now, about the Valentines Day party. Nothing strange happened like at last years party. But we did a lot of talking and eating these little heart shaped brownies and popcorn. Everyone made little heart shaped soaps out of these HUGE-NORMOUS blocks of soap. We had a scavenger hunt looking for Valentines with certain things on and/or in them. An example would be... 'Find a Valentine with a Cartoon charecter on it'. I found everything except the one that wanted a sports equipment item on the Valentine.
We also had two tests. The two tests was the only work we did all day. We took a spelling test (which we do weekly) and a math test about volume and customary and metric capacity. I think I aced both tests except on one question on the math test. This was the question (or something like it)- 'Martin built a miniature stair case out of 12 cubes. It has 3 steps. How many steps would there be if Martin used 35 blocks?'. It was really hard because on one step in had 2 cubes showing and on the next step, it had 3 and then the next step had one. It was not easy also becuase 12, 3 and 35 could never be used in the same fact family and make sense. That was the only problem I think I missed.
I bet you're wondering what 'strange thing' happened at last years Valentines party. Well, here's a little story: Once upon a time, it was a normal Valentines day party. Or so we thought. We had gotten cupcakes and we got to decorate them. The room moms set down a rather big can of sprinkles. Emma reached for the sprinkles and started shaking it onto the cupcake. You would've thought 2 or 3 shakes would be enough. Nope. She kept on going, past ten, past 15, and a little over 20 shakes of sprinkles, Emma's cupcake was the new national monument, 'Sprinkle Mountain!'. Emma licked of all the sprinkles and grabbed the sprinkle shaker and shook some more. Emma went through almost half the jar. If that isn't weird enough for you, check out this story.
It was the same Valentines day party, sitting next to my two best friends, Emma and Victoria. Victoria had finished her cupcake and so had Emma (finally). Emma pointed at Victoria's cupcake wrapper.
"Are you gonna use that?" Emma asked. Victoria knew Emma, she gave Emma a suspicious look and at last said, "Nooooo."
At that, Emma grabbed the cupcake wrapper, and started licking all the crumbs off. Moments later, she stuffed the wrapper in her mouth and began chewing! Victoria started gagging so much there were tears in her eyes, ready to stream down her face. After Emma stopped chewing she swallowed and opened her mouth to she Victoria, her mouth was empty! Emma ate the cupcake wrapper! How's that for weird?
